What do you get when you combine the power of the internet, learning and making a difference feeding the world’s hungry. Freerice.com. I must say once you start playing the vocabulary game you will be addicted, but a good addiction. For every 1 word you get right you donate 20 grains of rice. So for every 5 words you get right you can donate 100 grains of rice. I was able to donate 660 grains of rice.
FreeRice has two goals:
- Provide English vocabulary to everyone for free.
- Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free.
I am not going to take up anymore of your time, so that you can go over to the website and see how many grains of rice you can donate. So instead of playing solitaire on your computer this is a great alternative, while you are making a difference.
